As Chief of Police, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Post Falls Police Department on-line. The Post Falls Police Department is comprised of dedicated professional employees who are committed to our community.

Detectives

The Detectives Division consists of a Division Lieutenant, a Detective Sergeant, four detectives, one D.A.R.E. Officer/School Resource Officer (S.R.O.), one Campus Police Officer (C.P.O.) and the O.A.S.I.S. program. A Detective is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to emergency investigative needs.

The Post Falls Police Department exists to serve the Citizens of Post Falls and visitors to our community with respect, fairness and compassion.  The Department is dedicated to the prevention of crime; the protection of life and property; the maintenance of law and order; the enforcement of laws and ordinances; and upholding the constitutional rights of all those within our jurisdiction.

Do you have unwanted medicines in your home? You can help protect your family, community and the environment by properly disposing of them.

Now you can turn in medication to the Police Department seven days a week.

Alcohol Beverage Licenses and Catering Permits

Effective January 20th, 2010, the Police Department will be responsible for the issuance of alcohol beverage licenses. In the past, the City Clerk was responsible for this duty. This task will now become the responsibility of the Police Department.
