11/18/17 Day shift responded to approximately 27 calls for service ranging from welfare checks, traffic offenses, lock outs, and medical assists.
RP reported someone breaking into his shop and stealing his tools. He had a suspect and a report was taken.
While investigating the burglary, Ofc. McMillen found the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was tracked down and arrested for the warrant and questioned about the burglary. He eventually confessed to the burglary and the tools were recovered and returned to the owner. The suspect was booked . Good job Ofc. McMillen!
A cold report of a shoplifter stealing jewelry was taken. Evidence was obtained and a report was written.

Night shift log 11/17/17
Graveyard units responded to 27 calls for service between
2000 – 0600, ranging from welfare checks, medical assists, traffic offenses, animal problems and citizen assists.
17PF32702 – Protective Custody
Officers responded for report of a male who was intoxicated, unconscious, and choking on vomit. Upon arrival, it was determined the male posed a danger to his safety and wellbeing and he was placed on detox hold.
17PF32707 – Drugs
Anonymous tip was submitted to the department advising marijuana was being consumed at a residence within the city. Officers responded and multiple items of drug paraphernalia were seized. A report was taken and one male was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
17PF32713 – Domestic Dispute
Officers responded to a 911 hang up and discovered a domestic incident occurred between a male and female. Officers were advised the male had been battered by the female and the female was taken to the Kootenai County Public Safety Building and booked for Domestic Battery in the presence of a child. Female also had destroyed multiple items in the residence and was cited and released for malicious injury to property.
17PF32719 – Theft
Male accused his friend of stealing an e-cigarette. Upon contacting male, he denied taking the e-cigarette.
17PF32727 – Information

Two vehicle non injury collision.
17PF32685 - Hit and Run collision at Mullan and Idaho
A hit and run occured at this location, with no suspect information.
17PF32702 - Detox hold on Maranatha
Officers responded to a location on multiple occasions for a very intoxicated male. male. It was determined he was too intoxicated to care for himself and he was taken on a detox hold, BrAC was over a .30.

Day shift responded various calls for service ranging from welfare checks, medical assists, traffic offenses, animal problems and citizen assists.
17PF32625 Phone Harassment- Female reported having an ongoing issue with her exboyfriend sending threatening text messages. A report was taken.
17PF32631 DUI/drugs- Officer stopped vehicle for infraction violation and could smell odor of alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle. Driver failed SFST’s and was taken into custody. While collecting pictures of an open container in the vehicle, marijuana was found. Driver was transported to PSB and booked for the DUI and drugs.
A 50cc motorcycle was found and reported abandoned. It was taken for safe keeping and a report was taken.
