Chief McLean started working for the Post Falls Police Department as a full time Animal Control officer in 1989.  After one year he was hired on as a full-time police officer and has held many positions throughout his 27 years of service.  Chief McLean was one of our first Motor Officers and has also held the positions of Field Training Officer, Detective, Patrol Sergeant, and Patrol Lieutenant.

Chief Mclean is a 2011 graduate from the FBI National Academy class 247 and holds an Associate for Applied Science degree from North Idaho College in Criminal Justice.

Chief McLean is devoted to seeing that the public gets the best possible service available.
