Fourth Annual Post Falls Police Department K9 Golf Tournament Fundraiser

Join us for the Fourth Annual Post Falls Police Department K9 Golf Tournament fundraiser at the Links Golf Course in Post Falls on Friday, July 20, 2018.  There will be food served and a silent auction.  All proceeds benefit our department’s K9 unit. We are also seeking birdie and eagle hole sponsorship's plus silent auction and raffle item donations.

For tournament players, check-in is at 8:00 a.m. and tee-off at 9:00 a.m. Food is for paid golf entrants only. Spectators are welcome to watch the tournament and participate in the silent auction. You do not need to be present to win.

The Post Falls Police K9 program was created in 2009 to provide professionally trained and highly-motivated K9 teams to respond to critical incidents and utilized for illegal drug interdiction. In addition, they provide a clear deterrent to resistive suspects with intent to assault, evade, or escape. Our K9 team also assists other local law enforcement agencies when available.

Our K9 team benefits the department and Post Falls citizens by being a force multiplier to detect hidden suspects. In some cases, the presence of a K9 team will convince suspects to surrender. They reduce the hours it takes patrol officers to search buildings, and their presence improves officer safety.

To register for the four-person scramble, download the  K9 Golf Tournament Registration application then mail or drop off the completed application at the police department with cash or check payment payable to the Post Falls Police Department.

Completed application and payment can also be dropped of at the Links Golf Course.
