Swing and night shift logs 01/20/18
Swing units responded to 24 calls for service between 1500 and 2000 hrs, mostly citizen assists and medical assists. There were two minor traffic misdemeanor reports for failure to purchase drivers licenses. Nothing further to report.

18PF01780: Traffic Offense
Officer conducted a traffic stop for a traffic infraction. The driver was suspended and cited for the DWP. Report was taken.
Employee from T-Mobile called to report a male stole an Iphone off of the shelf and left the store. Officers checked for the male wearing a black north face jacket, tan boots, and a Seahawks stoking cap but were unable to locate him. Report was taken.

1/19/18 Day Shift & Swing - Officers responded to approximately 63 calls for service to include welfare checks, citizen assists, medical assists, property damage accidents, suspicious, and harassment.
18PF01700: Injury Accident
Officers responded to the intersection of Syringa/12th for a minor injury two vehicle accident. Vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign and struck the other vehicle traveling w/b 12th in the passenger door. Occupants of both vehicles suffered minor injuries. Report was taken.
RP called to report two of their bikes were stolen sometime during the evening hours. There are no suspects at this time and report was taken.
18PF01723- Assist/warrant arrest Syringa/Horsehaven- assisted in arrest of a wanted person
18PF01730- Custodial interference - units responded to assist in a custodial issue. After some time it was determined that the child was not going to be released to the other parent and a report was taken for the interference.

Officer Koontz participated in an event at Lake City High School that was sponsored by Allstate Insurance, where attendants of the basketball game tonight could put a blue thumbprint on a banner pledging to not text and drive. They were given a piece of paper to write down their names and fold into a paper airplane. During half time, they were given an opportunity to throw the airplane into one of three trash cans for a chance to win $100-$200.
