Through the D.A.R.E. Program, children are being provided with essential information, skills and encouragement to help establish strong values and remain committed to them, to set boundaries, to make good choices, to feel good about themselves and their decisions.
This year over five hundred children will graduate from the DARE program in Post Falls, each of these graduates will benefit from D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), the highly acclaimed program that gives kids the skills they need to avoid involvement in drugs, gangs, and violence.
D.A.R.E. is a police officer-led series of classroom lessons that teaches children of various ages how to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and violence-free lives. The Post Falls Police Department is committed to the DARE program and the many benefits it provides to our community.
