Position: Police Officer - Lateral Available: Immediately Closing Date: March 10, 2010 The Post Falls Police Department has an immediate opening for a FT Police Officer. The PFPD is a multi-agency, 9-1-1 dispatch center.
General Duties: Performs general duty and investigative police work in the protection of life and property through enforcement of laws and ordinances: responds to calls as assigned; makes arrests and may be assigned in specialized areas such as community services, criminal investigations, administration, field training and performs related work as required.
Applicants must currently be P.O.S.T. certified as a police officer, or ability to certify within one year. Must be at least 21 YOA, have a valid driver's license. The PFPD offers an excellent benefit package, shift differential and incentive pay for specialized assignments. The starting pay is $19.18 PH.
