The Post Falls Police Department and Post Falls Parks Department has seen a spike in vandalism and graffiti at several parks near Post Falls Middle School. The damage includes spray-painting graffiti to porta-potties plus vandalism to play structures. It appears it is the same person or group because of the similarity of the graffiti. The damage seems to be occurring after 3 o’clock in the afternoon, apparently after Post Falls Middle School lets out for the day.
In a separate set of incidents, unknown suspect/s have broken residential and vehicle windows with a BB or Pellet gun causing hundreds of dollars of damage. These incidents occurred in Post Falls on Ponderosa Blvd, Riverside Harbor, East 15 Avenue, and Stagecoach Drive. It is illegal to discharge firearms within the city limits including BB and Pellet guns.
The Police Department asks anyone who sees anyone or anything suspicious to report it immediately to the PD. If you have information regarding any of these crimes please contact the Post Falls Police Department at (208) 773-3517 or www.postfallspolice.com.
