Lori was born and raised in Post Falls.  She grew up with family in emergency services. Lori attended college to become a Certified Medical Assistant.

Five years later, she decided to try something new.  Lori applied and was hired on March 17, 2008 as an Emergency Communications Officer (ECO) with the Post Falls Police Department.   Lori said she found her true passion in Law Enforcement.

In 2009, Lori  attended the Peace Officer Standard and Training (POST) Academy for ECO’s and was voted class president.  During the graduation ceremony, she gave a speech that truly detailed the day and life of a Communications Officer.

Lori  is currently a member of the Department’s Critical Incident Team (CID) where she helps other agency members cope with critical related incidents.

In 2010, Lori was certified as an Emergency Medical Dispatch Instructor;  her passion is teaching stress management.   Law enforcement can be a very high-stress field to work in at times and learning how to deal with stress is an essential part of the job.

Lori is a valued member of our team; she was voted by her peers in the Department as employee of the quarter on two separate occasions.
