Post Falls Police Department is honored to be featured in Law Officer Magazine, a monthly publication for law enforcement officers throughout the United States.  Law Officer Magazine Editor in Chief, Dale Stockton began a new series, “America’s Finest: Profiles in Progressive Policing” with the first feature to print in January 2012.

The Post Falls Police Department is honored to be the first agency to be spotlighted in this new monthly report.  The article, Post Falls, Idaho – Vision & technology set it apart, Post Falls PD sets the bar high with technology and service"  highlights many aspects of the Police Department with the emphasis on service, technology, and funding through grants and our volunteer program.

The story mentions our own Carol Prosser “who has a knack for putting together winning proposals”.  Detective Rod Gunderson’s photos feature Senior Patrol Officer Scott Harmon and Senior Emergency Communications Officer Amy Rasmussen.

Chief Scot Haug’s modest leadership prevails throughout the article. He is quick to steer much of the credit to the staff for the excellent work they do.  “Working together, we are recognized as one of the best”, proudly states Chief Haug in an internal memo to staff.

The five page article gives a broad overview of the equipment and technology the Post Falls Police Department utilizes in keeping our community safe and continues to be a great place to live.

The article can be read in it’s entirety by clicking on the photo of the magazine cover at the top of this article or by downloading the pdf below.
