Patrol Officer
The
Post Falls Police Department is accepting applications for a Police
Officer. Performs general police work & investigative police
work in the protection of life & property through enforcement of laws
& ordinances: responds to calls as assigned; makes arrests & may
be assigned in specialized areas such as community services, criminal
investigations, administration, field training & performs related work
as required.
Applicants
must be a citizen of the
US
, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 21 YOA &
have 2 years of reasonable work experience. Successful applicants will be
required to pass an oral interview & polygraph exam, other endurance
testing & a final interview with the Chief of Police. Must
be able to successfully receive POST certification within 1 year of
employment. Preference will be given to currently certified lateral
applicants. Conviction or withheld judgment of any state, local or federal
crime may be grounds for rejection.
The
PFPD offers an excellent benefit & retirement package; shift
differential & incentive pay for specialized assignments.
Starting pay $19.18 PH.
