Communications Officer

Falls
Police Dept has an immediate FT position open for an Emergency
Communications Officer.
The PFPD is a multi-agency, 9-1-1 dispatch center that utilizes the
Spillman CAD system.
Duties
inc: answering incoming emergency & non-emergency calls, dispatching
officers, operating teletype, computer, 2-way radio & performing
receptionist duties for the PD. HS grad/equiv, ability to work under
stressful conditions, communicate effectively, must have good typing &
clerical skills & exp working w/the public. Familiarity w/city
locations is necessary. Must be available all days & shifts.
Selection
process consists of written exam, oral board interview, complete &
thorough background investigation, polygraph exam & final interview
w/Police Chief. Wage: $15.22 PH + shift differential w/competitive ben
pkg.
