Business Burglary
Date:
February 19, 2004
On
February 19th at 4:15 am, the Post Falls Police Department
responded to a business alarm in the area of I90 and Pleasantview.
When officers arrived they discovered the front window of the
business had been smashed and it appeared that entry to the business had
been made. Post Falls
detectives were called to the scene to assist in processing the crime
scene for evidence. With the
assistance of surveillance video from the store, it was determined that
what appears to be three individuals 15-20 years of age, had entered the
store and stole approximately 50 to 80 cartons of cigarettes.
Linked
to this press release from our web site, (www.postfallspolice.com),
is surveillance footage
from the store showing the suspect vehicle driving by the front doors.
Also it shows the entry and actual burglary of the store.
The suspect vehicle is described as an early 80’s white Chevy
Suburban with a Blue or Gray decorative design on the side that runs the
entire length of the vehicle. The
Suburban also has a luggage rack on top and possible tinted windows.
The
store owners have requested that their store not be identified at this
time. Any information about
the possible suspects or the suspect vehicle should be forwarded to
