SUBJECT: Rape - False Report

Date: May 27, 2003

On May 13, 2004 at 16:42hrs, the Post Falls Police Department responded to an apartment near Greensferry Rd and 3^rd Ave for a report of a Rape.  Rita M. Endreson reported that around 04:30hrs she had been raped by a 6 foot 250 to 300 lb white male who had entered her home and forcefully raped her.  Post Falls Detectives responded to the scene and quickly found inconsistencies in Ms. Endreson’s story.  Upon further questioning Ms. Endreson admitted that she had lied and that she actually had consensual sex with a known male.  This story was later confirmed when investigators questioned the involved male.  The male also advised detectives that Ms. Endreson had portrayed herself to be a Post Falls Police officer to him during his contact with her.  Upon requests for further interviews with Ms. Endreson she refused to cooperate any further in the investigation.

Investigators also uncovered that Ms. Endreson had contacted the Red Cross shortly after she reported the rape and advised them of the report in an attempt to have her boyfriend Jason Bisaro, who is an airman based out of Korea, flown home.  The Post Falls Investigators are continuing to work in conjunction with the Air Force Investigators to determine Mr. Bisaro’s involvement in the falsified rape report.  It is believed that Mr. Bisaro had shown his superiors a misleading picture portraying a battered female and claimed this was Ms. Endreson in an attempt to secure his leave to return home.

The Post Falls Police Department will be filing misdemeanor charges against Ms. Endreson for filing a false report as well as potential Felony charges for impersonating a police officer.  They will also be seeking restitution for over 100 hrs spent by investigators in following up on Ms. Endreson’s false claim.
