SUBJECT: Person of Interest

The Post Falls Police Department is asking for assistance in locating 21 year old Jeremy Kent Franks.  Mr. Franks is described as a white male, 5’7” tall, 160 lbs, short brown hair, brown eyes and is missing three fingers on his left hand from a previous accident. Mr. Franks is currently wanted on two felony warrants out of Kootenai County for probation violations.  Post Falls Officers became involved in a short foot pursuit with Franks on August 30^th at 9:30 pm when they attempted to contact him as a suspicious male in the area of 2^nd and Ross Point Rd.  Mr. Franks was able to get away but Property left behind indicates that he is possibly armed with a handgun.

The Post Falls Police Department is also interested in speaking to Mr. Franks as the possible suspect referred to in a recent press release showing the photo of a male attempting to use a stolen ATM card at Global Credit Union on August 23^rd at 1:17 am.
