On
January 5th at 10:44pm, the Post Falls Police Department
responded to the 400 block of W. 19th for a report of a home
invasion. It was reported that a suspect forced open the rear door of the
home, occupied by an elderly couple. The couple was unharmed and the
suspect fled after being confronted by the homeowners.
The suspect is described as approximately 5’7” tall and was
wearing dark clothing. When
officers arrived on scene they where unable to locate the suspect but
believe he may have possible fled the area eastbound from the 400 block of
W 19th, on a bicycle.

detectives were called out and processed the scene.

detectives are asking for anyone who may have seen a male matching the
given description, either on foot or on a
bicycle around 10:44pm in the area of River city middle school, to contact
Detective Kenner at 773-3517.
