SUBJECT: Golf Cart Vandalism - Update

Date: June 9, 2004

Update on June 8^th press release on the theft and vandalism of a golf cart from Q’emiln Park in Post Falls. 

Utilizing the surveillance footage from the park, the Post Falls Police Department was able to identify a partial license plate on the suspect vehicle.  A search of partial plates and vehicle description led Investigators to a Post Falls home where the vehicle was located.  Through interviews with the suspects, Post Falls Investigators where able to identify all 4 teens involved in the theft and vandalism of the golf cart.  All 4 teens are Post Falls residents and confessed to their involvement in the crime.

The Post Falls Police Department will be petitioning the juveniles for misdemeanor theft and vandalism of the golf cart as well as asking for restitution for the repairs.
