SUBJECT: Dead Body

At approximately 8:30 A.M. this morning, the Post Falls Police Department Communications Center received a 911 call in regards to an unresponsive female in the 600 block of north Silkwood. Officers and medical personnel responded to the north Silkwood address, in the Woodbridge subdivision. Upon arrival to the scene, officers found the female in the living room. It was determined, by medical personnel and officers on scene, that she was deceased.  The female has been identified as Heather L. Snyder, 30 YOA, from the Spokane Washington area. 

Preliminary information indicates that Ms. Snyder was in Post Falls visiting a friend she had recently met on the Internet. The friend advised that they were at the “Good Times Tavern” last night, earlier in the evening on Friday. Reportedly Mr. Snyder had fallen asleep on the couch at approximately 1:00 A.M. The friend found her not breathing at approximately 8:00 A.M. this morning and contacted 911.

Although the case remains under investigation, preliminary information leads investigators not to suspect foul play at this time.  Anyone who may have inforamtion about this case is asked to contact the Post Falls Police Department Detective Division at (208) 773-3517.
