SUBJECT: Burglary Suspects Apprehended

Date: October 5, 2004

On October 5^th the Post Falls Police Department submitted a press release informing citizens of a rash of vehicle burglaries that had occurred over the weekend in the area of Ponderosa Blvd. and Greensferry Rd.   On the afternoon of October 6^th, Post Falls detectives interviewed 3 suspects in connection with several Coeur d Alene vehicle burglaries.  Suspects Austin Viles (18) of Coeur d’ Alene, Sean Liffel (18) of Post Falls and a 17-year-old juvenile also of Post Falls, admitted to their involvement in the Post Falls vehicle burglaries.  Investigators were able to recover most of the stolen property from a Post Falls residence.

Felony burglary charges are being filed against Viles and Liffel, as well as the juvenile. All suspects are currently in custody on Coeur d’ Alene related charges.
