Residential Burglaries

On
December 15, 2005 the Post Falls Police Department investigated two
separate residential burglaries that occurred between 8:00 am and 5:00pm. The first incident occurred in the 2700 block of Black Forest
Avenue. The suspect forced
entry into the home by prying open the front door.
The suspect stole currency, Christmas ornaments and a shotgun.
Evidence located at the scene indicated that the suspect walked to
the home by walking eastbound on Black Forest Avenue from Greensferry Road
and left the same way.
The
second incident was reported in the 1500 block of East 1st
Avenue. The suspect forced
entry through the front door and stole red antique spice tins and other
small items amounting to an approximate 300-dollar loss.
Both
homes were unoccupied during the crime.
Investigators processed the scenes but it is undetermined if the
two residential burglaries are connected at this time. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Post Falls
