SUBJECT: Vehicle Burglaries

Date: November 10, 2005

The Post Falls Police Department is investigating a series of auto burglaries, which occurred on November 9^th, 2005. Seven vehicles were reported broken into sometime during the evening of November 8^th or the early morning hours of November 9^th. Several of the victims reported that property was removed from their vehicle while others advised they had nothing taken.  The suspect(s) forced entry into many of the vehicle by smashing a side window, causing several hundred dollars in damages.

The burglaries occurred within the 100 to 400 blocks of E. 2^nd and 3^rd Streets as well as the 1500 block of E 2^nd and 1800 block of Spokane Street .
