SUBJECT: Attempted Child Abduction

Date: March 30, 2005

On March 29th, 2005, the Post Falls Police Department responded to the area of Gold Strike Ln. and Nugget Ln. for a report of an attempted child abduction.  It was reported that around 4:00 p.m. an older red truck pulled up to a 9 year old boy walking down the street.  The male driver of the truck told the boy

“Get in the pickup before I hurt you”. The boy fled the area and reported the incident to his older sister, who notified police.

The suspect is described as a white mid 30’s male with possibly brown hair.  The suspect had a full beard and mustache brown in color with gray mixed in and was wearing blue jeans, possibly a red tank-top shirt and a black baseball hat with blue stripes and blue writing on it.  The suspect was also wearing brown older style tinted gasses and had a dragon tattoo on his right bicep.

The suspect was driving a small older style, rusted red color truck with bucket seats.  The License plate contained mountains and trees and possibly had the letters “I” and “L” in it.

Anyone with information on the suspect or vehicle is urged to contact the Post Falls Police Department or access the Post Falls anonymous “Tip” page under “Detectives”, on the Post Falls Police Department web site at www.postfallspolice.com.
