Wednesday,
April 18th the Post Falls Police Department in collaboration
with Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE), brought closure to a 3-month
investigation of a local business.
Employees
of the
Buffet
Castle
were detained as they arrived to work. The investigation revealed that
several of the employees and the owners of the
Buffet
Castle
were in the
United States
illegally or in violation of their passport restrictions.
Of
those taken into custody were restaurant owners and brothers You-Yao Li
(36) and You-He Li (34) both born in
China
and currently Canadian citizens illegally in the
United States
. Also taken into custody were
46-year-old male Feng Bin Liu of China and 37-year-old female Jakarta
Selata Pasanggrahan from
Indonesia
. All four were transported to
the Spokane Border Patrol office to start their exportation process.
